Serengeti Wildebeests Migration is a display of natural wonders with over two million wildebeests, zebras, and antelope traveling over 450 miles across the plain to ensure their survival. Witness huge crocodiles of the Mara River as they wait for the herbivorous to cross the swollen Mara river and enter into Masai Mara Game Reserve from Serengeti National Park.
Kilimanjaro Airport – Karatu (3-hour transfer) Program: Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your guide will be waiting to take you to Karatu. If time, desire, and energy allow, we can stop at local markets and villages along the way. Activities: Local markets and/or village of Karatu. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Marera Lodge.
Karatu – Ngorongoro – Serengeti (3-hour transfer) Program: After breakfast, we leave the village of Karatu and immediately enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will continue across the Ngorongoro highlands to the entrance of Serengeti National Park, where we will begin our photo safari during these days. Activities: Photo safari. Serengeti National Park is the most beautiful park in all of Africa, an endless plain that you can admire from the viewpoint at Naabi Gate. The Great Migration moves through the park in search of fresh pastures, crossing crocodile-infested rivers. It is the best park for spotting felines and predators in general. Accommodation: Dinner and overnight stay at Kati Kati Tented Camp, Tanzania Bush Camp, or Mbugani Tented Camp.
